It is rightly said that “the whole purpose of education is to teach the child to think and not what to think”. Education is not just a process of giving knowledge for a future job but a lifelong process which creates an understanding of moral and ethical values to guide one’s life in a right path. We, at Barama College believe thatthis is the fundamental truth and it has always been the endeavour of the college to instill right values in its students- by involving them in both scholastic & co-scholastic activities, which are sure help our students to realize, understand & explore their talents, so that they develop a holistic personality.
An institution of higher learning was a long cherished dream of the people of greater Baksa area.
